“I’m just not prepared to deal with what would follow an Eagles victory: a year of whining and complaining about how the Patriots were robbed because Goodell and the NFL somehow conspired with the refs to give the game to Philadelphia.”

+1 over-generalization!
Any time a guy who averages 8 points and 3 rebounds is the best part of a deal you know right away that it was a horrible deal.
That’s too bad. She looks like she’s a really nice guy.
Are you confusing the Patriots with the Red Sox?
It blows my mind that after witnessing the circus that was Deflategate and the unprecedented penalties that were handed out for Tom Brady possibly knowing that air might have been let out of some footballs, people are actually suggesting that the NFL is on New England’s side. Honestly, it’s completely idiotic.
First Trump and then Big Ben. Stormy is a bit of a chubby chaser, huh?
Pierce played 15 seasons in Boston. Several of those seasons were on really horrible teams, and despite the fact that he was a legitimate superstar who could have played anywhere that he wanted, he never jumped ship. He’s second all-time in team scoring, he’s a Finals MVP, and he helped bring them their first…
I love the idea of anybody shit talking the Pittsburgh Steelers, but does Jalen really have a leg to stand on after his defense gave up six touchdowns?
People don’t talk enough about just how weird Pete’s hair got by the end of that show.
If he comes out to the press conference dressed like the Pied Piper then we know that he did not suffer a brain injury.
I can’t help but laugh at the idea of a Bills fan boarding a flight back to the frozen tundra that is Buffalo covered in skunked beer, Bengay from multiple trips through folding tables, and buffalo sauce after watching their beloved team score 3 points in their first playoff game in roughly two decades.
This is a total bummer. There are people out there who actually believe that Liverpool is a better team without Coutinho in the lineup. Those people are morons. This guy makes every attacking player on the field better. His passing, ball control, vision, creativity, finishing, set pieces, and long range shooting are…
Was this supposed to be a humorous article?
I don’t follow your logic. Are you arguing that he should be punished less harshly because he tackles people for a living? What difference does that make? He headhunted a defenseless receiver which results in a suspension. I could not possibly care any less that he plays linebacker, and as far as I can tell neither…
It wasn’t “worse than the Gronk hit”? How can you say that objectively? The NFL gets most things wrong, but in this instance they got it right. Both hits were despicable, and both players deserved a suspension. The only difference is that Davis is a repeat offender. As a result, he received a harsher penalty. If Gronk…
It’s interesting that you mention Salah-Mane-Coutinho. If Klopp weren’t managing the team then Salah and Mane would not be playing for the Liverpool, not to mention that Klopp was able to extend Coutinho’s contract by five years which translates to massive dollars when club inevitably sells him this summer.
The way he rolled himself over onto his back was incredibly unsettling. I hope the guy is alright.
This thread perfectly encapsulates the internet in 2017.
“Cody Parkey” would be the greatest lacrosse player name of all time. It’s a travesty that it was wasted on a kicker.
