I understand your feelings on this and something I worry about constantly as I get older - my wife and I are happy as clams to be with one another but we dont have many friends and we don’t relish making new ones we havent met yet.

There has to a term for people (such as myself) who love rustling the jimmies of other people who clearly would try and ignore you (or avert their eyes) if you suddenly caught on fire and begged them for help.

I like how ‘introverts’ are falling over themselves to correct you about how you perceive them to act and be and have some of the dimmest opinions of people who aren’t like them.

So introverted that it defines them, not introverted enough that you simply are incapable of being hurt by other people’s opinions.

It’s become an excuse for anti-social behavior at least online.

I wish introverts would actually live what they claim to be and just leave me the fuck alone. I don’t need navel gazing musings on why they’re okay as people.

This is the thing that makes me feel less bad for game testers and devs - there’s a whole world of non gaming stuff out there for you to do with the same skills that pay decent and don’t nearly the same demands and turnover as gaming.
