“man, last time we went out there, I got a wicked case of burning bush”.

And even then everyone’s always looking at their tablets.

Jazz is all about improvisation man.

True, but 1:1 gender ratios have never been a big concern out there.

I think what they are alluding to is that after 6pm there’s Mormon than women out at the local bars.

The great thing about jazz is that if it starts getting boring, you can just play other notes.

Ya whats with khakis and a button down shirt! What are they trying to prove! I only go to work in my fishnet leggings and ripped AC/DC shirt!

The Jets, obsessive as they are in aping all things New England, immediately announced the signings of Dylan Abercrombie and Caleb Fitch.

Surely, it can’t get any better than signing the Hollister twins

What’s O’Canada? Irish Canada?

I’ll bet my 3 fingers from my left hand the AF coaches told him something along the lines of “while there’s no guarantees, for the last 3 decades almost everyone has gotten deferments for professional athletic careers”

Well, generally it’s good PR for the military to have reservists on national television every week.
I have no problem with athletes being told to immediately serve, but they should have issued the policy saying “nobody is going to get a deferment who is enrolling now.”

I mean the flipside is what these athletes were offered when they committed to AF Academy or West Point. For the last 25 years, the service academies permitted athletes to defer their 2 years of active service, and they almost certainly expected the same would hold true for them.

Maybe you should have taken a “free government ride” to learn what “deferred” means.

Presumably your own education did not include basic reading comprehension. To “defer” means to “delay until later” which means military cadets could — and always did — serve two years in the actual military. They just got a chance to do it later, so that they could capitalize on their earning potential. This is such a

You should kind of look up what deferment means. Until then, I will defer from labeling you a dumb bastard.

You seem to be confused. A deferral does not mean that you don’t have to serve, it means you don’t have to serve *immediately*. Robinette was going to serve those two years, but it is common for the military to wait until your athletic career is over for you to serve them, because the early years of your career are
