I literally can’t keep my retirement and non-retirement savings at the same institution because I don’t consider them to be in the same pot of money for the same planning horizon and can’t tolerate mixing them together in reporting. It’s important!

Because it is useful and for most people it is the future. You don’t like it and don’t want one that is fine - just realize the majority of people are not jumping on the bandwagon with you.
You’re a fool if you honestly believe this tool will only be used to go after serial killers.
Don’t worry, you can just check Twitter’s plain text log!
But making a large technical mistake like claiming an AR-15 can fire 30 rounds in a couple of seconds doesn’t make your argument invalid?
Agreed 100%. The ability to cache would help me not burn through so much of my data plan on long road trips, as well.
So bury it in your back yard?
And that is fair. To the other people who said there should be more varied social outings where many don’t include drinking, that’s also very fair and necessary.
I recently outfitted my mother’s home with 4 echos. The one in the bathroom was particularly necessary as she once had a glass shower door collapse (damn you, Lowes and your sh*tty installation).
They’re doing this to decouple people for their AT&T emails. People are generally reluctant to switch providers if their email addresses are tied to their ISPs. People’s entire lives are attached to their email addresses, so an ISP owned address becomes a tether that disincentivises changing providers.
Excellent idea. Unfortunately, it requires that I make $527,322 a year after taxes. I suppose that means with an income of 700k, I should be saving about 173k a year for retirement. OTOH, since I only make 50k, perhaps a followup LH post on how to bridge my $477k shortfall would be helpful. ;-)
"Omg this new employee doesn't know how to do this specialized task, they should train themselves. They are so annoying because I've worked her forever and know everything."
This is what I'm hearing you say. They need to be trained correctly, as well as they will need to verify that they are doing it correctly. …
