I loved that! His comments about his kids think Hanukkah is a joke compared to Christmas were great because—sure they do! The side effect of super Christmas commercialism is that Hanukkah, a relatively minor Jewish holiday, is unfairly compared to what is the most important and fun holiday of the year for most

I came in halfway through the episode and gave it a "B". Maybe missing the opening scenes makes the show funnier.

I know I shouldn't buy this…I should wait for the trade, which will probably be on my library's children's graphic novel shelf only a couple of weeks after it comes out…I don't have the room to properly store single issues anyway, and for some reason I'm collecting Saga, Fairest, Wonder Woman, Batman Beyond Unlimited,

I'm even newer to this show than I am to Adventure Time, but I really enjoyed this episode, and it had a lot going against it for me as a viewer: I'm not familiar with the show or its characters; It's a CHRISTMAS special which, just, uggh.

I'd rather see a Purim special, 'cuz on a show with a character named "Mordecai" why wouldn't you have a Purim special?

I'd complain that kids today don't have shows as good and snark-developing as Animaniacs, The Tick, etc, but they have Adventure Time and Gravity Falls, so they win.

I like it. Granted, I haven't watched the 2003 series, but I find it to be a decent mix of humor, plot, and serialization for a kid's superhero show. Plus, Splinter said he was going to train April. If April becomes a badass ninja by the end of the series, it's a big plus in my book!

Isn't it funny how people started calling watching recorded shows "live" when they watch them as they first air (as opposed to via DVR, On Demand, Hulu, etc)? I don't have a good linguistic alternative, though.. </pedantic>

I like Mindy Kailing, and I wish this show was better. Mindy's character just comes off as such a jerk and it makes me cringe in a bad way. Does she have to be that annoying? If she acts like a mature, responsible adult some of the time, I could stand her character better, but right now I can't help but wonder how a

Jewish holidays are known for variations of: "They tried to kill us; we won; let's eat!" (note: That is not the basis of Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shavuot, etc)
