Lol. Wow. Imagine Rare suing Playtonic Games because Yooka-Laylee was made by the same guys who used to make Banjo for them and used concepts and art similar to their shitcanned Banjo-Threeie project.

As someone with no real opinion on Sanderson or Wired, I think there is the basic issue of an interview, like all news, is really filtered through the lens of the interviewer. Kehe seems to not like Sanderson much, but saying things like “I never got anything real from him” is pure pontificating that takes away from…
“Why is the article so mean-spirited? Why does he hate Hugh Jackman so much that he bursts into tears when hearing him sing? Is this guy okay?” Not just that, but seeing Sanderson’s 15 year old son salt his Yakisoba makes him CRY. So either
I like Sanderson’s books, they’re definitely popular because they’re accessible and competently delivered as opposed to dazzling the reader with prose but there’s no shame in being the MCU of fantasy books.
Wow, the extremely obvious hatred of women is strong in those twitter replies. Thanks Elon!
On the other hand, there’s nothing wrong with having various performance options that can be turned on and off by the player.
I mean, there’s still all that horrific shit of him sliding into underage girls DMs and telling them they’re hot jailbait.
In a perfect world, a judge would read out his sentence, pause for effect, and finish with “not in Minecraft”.
Including being 38 and living with his mom. At least he has a room upstairs? But yeah, really living up to the stereotypes here.
Now before everybody jumps on here and says he looks like what you’d expect a 4Chan tough guy to look like, hear me out...
He looks exactly like I would expect a 4Chant tough guy to look like.
The serial killer cop can stay dead, actually.
As an editorial it’s not terrible. The opinion is bad but lots of editorials are like that. Where I feel it crosses the line is actual saying this is somehow homophobia for some weird reason. Honestly I think they do this shit to drive engagement
And a fucking mass murder. He caused a fucking train derailment that killed hundred of people!
Counter point ACAB, especially when they have Akechi’s body count
AND a literal bastard!
“He was a true member of the Phantom Thieves group, and his haters can die mad about it.”
But...you sound like you’re mad he’s not. You wrote a whole ass article on it. I feel like his haters are going to die happy.
This is a poor take, Akechi was kinda badly written originally, Royal gives him redemption. He fought to destroy a fake world where he existed because he’d rather have the freedom in death than to be bound to someone else’s reality. Bringing him back cheapens that and just makes him a narcissistic homicidal asshole.
Akechi is literally a cop
“He was a true member of the Phantom Thieves group.”
What? He literally never was, that’s basically one of the entire plot points.
Did you actually play the game or nah?
Akechi was one of the worst characters in the game. His story was mostly predictable and he was never, in either version, a believable member of the Phantom Thieves.
