Just FYI, the Wandering Dramaturge tells you a bunch about the Viera. For example, that they live wayyy longer than the other races (240 years or more), that it’s impossible to tell a male from a female until their 13th birthday, and more.

Normally I agree with everything you’ve said, and I agree with most of this, but I feel like XIII-2 and Lightning Returns were both improvements over the original game. I’m one of the few, it seems, who actually enjoyed XIII for what it was, but the other games were just better experiences.

There are plenty of fans who do. I don’t think what I originally said represents a person who is ‘mainlining the koolaid’, as you said, for a number of reasons, though it is admittedly easy to look at my own snark as unhelpful. I certainly don’t enjoy the wait more than anyone else.

I’ve been following the progress loosely, since following something like a video game closely is like watching a pot of water boil for X years. Their recent tech improvements are pretty amazing... but the Lorville livestreams they showed are much more impressive than this trailer. I guess that wasn’t covered. Easier…

Uh, I went to their site and it talks about buying them? It looks like it uses Ethereum or whatever and it costs actual money to make and trade them if I understand correctly.
