Some believe a 100% free market economy, complete privatisation, and deregulation are the best stimulus. They genuinely believe this, it's remarkable.

Very little taxes and lots of depreciation.

The "unnecessary Islam bit at the end" is there as I witnessed a certain shock with American friends and colleagues (not just one party). They'd rarely seen a burka before, certainly not the hundreds in one session on Edgware road.

The UK also has a strong class system and limited migrant integration, which is bit of

It's a pleasure. Thanks for setting the challenge!

The laws here in the UK are very loose/relaxed when it comes to motor vehicles and the road-tax is something like £200 ($340) a year for the average car (listed above), so really cheap compared to other European nations like Norway and the Netherlands. But I agree with the city-loathing... the cities here in the UK

Ok, I'll just go interpret this as an Ebay UK challenge.
I don't care what these cars look like on USA roads, here in Euro-land, these'll blend like Steven Tyler and Carly Simon.

Noise more than torque? I think you'll enjoy these methods too ;)

the sticker sits on the front tip of the bonnet in the centre, just above the Honda logo on the grill, right?

Indeed, kudos for his crazy persistence. I don't understand how that tiny company is still a float. Incredible, especially after Saab.

The Netherlands has a completely different setup than the USA. They're very progressive and have governmental system based on French and German rule sets.

I believe Victor Muller in this instance. Many don't realise that the Netherlands has way more tax laws and rules then any other country in the world.

the video got Ecclestoned.

one word: fugly!

I would like to know if you have noticed that the boot light is also a detachable torch?
At night, do the fog-lights or side-lights come on automatically in tight turns like hairpins?

We (wife & I) drove the same car (in black) and came to conclusion that it is the most perfect "sensible car" in existence today.

Edit (typo, reversed bhp/hp): so bhp - hp =< 0 (always less than zero).

I think you're absolutely right. Bhp is different to metric hp (ps in German).

I think that RR might remove that 110" (2.8 metre) diameter fan, because the 6:4 bypass ratio would be a very expensive hair-dryer functionality.

Ok, everybody was an ass-hat in these videos, even the silver (not super) car for hanging in that middle lane, Ice-T for undertaking, R8 douche for attempting to undertake.
More importantly/interestingly, those R8 head guards come up lighting fast, I really like that. At 02:38 in the first video, they deploy in slow-mo.

Now playing

Here's the very unique Melkus RS1000. A 40 year old 900 cc two-stroke 3-pot lightweight, only available east of the "iron curtain". 80 still exist, according to the commentator.

i love how like minded we all are here on Jalopnik, same thoughts within minutes, we need our own "Ace café" franchise goddamnit ;)
