First of all, Jezebel doesn't do trigger warnings, except MAYBE when something is the most horrifying thing you have ever seen in your life and all reasonable people would have nightmares about it. But as a policy, they don't do trigger warnings. So complaining about trigger warnings on Jezebel is kind of silly.

...I feel like people in the street must yell at her for being in blackface a lot...'

Haters gonna hate. YOU ROCK THAT NAME MISS MAXWELL DREW JOHNSON!

WHOOOO ONE OF THOSE IS MY NAME! If I was born a century ago, my mother could be needlessly judged for making my name too manly!

Clearly she should have announced it the exact moment she conceived.

You rock for this explanation. I would give you a giant microbe as a celebration of your awesomeness, if only I could.

But she wasn't saying anything negative about thin blondes. She was saying that thin blondes don't represent her. You randomly made it into a situation where you are being persecuted.

Dude, it's not about you.

Man Down and Umbrella are clearly exactly the same song, duh!

Given Romney's history and his current position, it was at the very least a tremendously insensitive joke.

My super creative idea of Rosalind Franklin seems to have been stolen by several other people...

Oh, 3LW... I like to think my taste in music has gotten a little better since then...

It makes me very sad. I love Jezebel the way it is...

I did move in with him, actually.

I never comment anywhere else either. If Jezebel goes the way of Gawker, though... I will have to leave... :(

...except for the addition of graphic bestiality pictures...

Just wanted to add: do it. My ex got a quarter expunged due to family reasons. If you hop through the hoops, it shouldn't be too hard...

You'll see it coming. I recently broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years, and there were no problems in the end that didn't exist on day one. The giddy I-love-you feeling certainly covers things up well enough to sustain a relationship for several years, but if the problems are there, they never really go away...

I actually love Rachel Maddow's tone with republicans. She's super nice and respectful but she calls the fuckers OUT when they are wrong. E. g. Santorum wrote her a note this week correcting a lie he said a few weeks ago that she called him out for. She politely thanked him for his note, said it was kind to write back
