Does anyone know how long Amazon's exclusive streaming contract runs? Because I think there's pretty much a 0% chance of Netflix picking up a a highly serialized show they don't have the rights to the back catalog of*. The only other chance would be an upstart desperate for content and press, like Yahoo and Community.

Same cinematographer (James Hawkinson) for all but 2 episodes though.

My thoughts watching the previews:

I do think that the "3 Episodes watched for review" should be up at the top and bolded or something to highlight that that's what's being reviewed.

The budget is reportedly just under $4 million an episode, which is quite high by TV standards.

It doesn't seem like they've publicized that all that much? I've just read the breakdowns in this comment section and the trivia part of imdb.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Good news is he seems to think it'll get a second season.

I'm in favor of Netflix shows having long-ish opening credits so that the first 30 seconds of each episode proper aren't a pixelated mess.

If I'm reading that right, they forgot to say which Season 9 Episodes to skip. (Side note, only 2?)

Wait, they've got you skipping "The Unnatural"? Definitely watch that one.

In the sense that it hopefully means it's also doing well in terms of legitimate streaming through Netflix?

…backs away slowly.

That's a dub though. Kind of a different thing than the language something is shot in.

@txtphile:disqus @disqus_mln2bZup0z:disqus I was actually just thinking that scenes where people jump into each other's brains and talk to each other could be kinda awkward/jarring if everyone was speaking different languages (I mean for the audience).

Yeah, it reminded me of the The Bone Clocks too. It's very much like Cloud Atlas the movie though.

Wikipedia has a list of the credits; I'm fairly certain they're accurate through the three episodes I've watched.

Also credited equally as a screenwriter! I agree, it is kinda weird.

Not according to his imdb page.

That refers to how many episodes this review is based off of.
