Of stuff in the middle of seasons or just ended, I'd put Fringe and Boardwalk ahead of it. (But I'm still half on board enough that an awesome finale could potentially move it above those.)

While this was playing it was probably my favorite episode of the season and I wasn't bothered by the reveal at the end. Possibly because I've always found Elena and the love triangle to the most boring part of the show (I'm in it more for the plotting and the side characters, especially Caroline).
