I’ve spent my 42 years on this planet in the company of many dogs (of various breeds) and many humans (of various shades). I know which I prefer, and it ain’t the people.

Dogs for the most part have always been more than just animals to humans. They specifically evolved to benefit from their relationship with humans. This isn’t anything new and has been around since before you were even born.

I’m allergic to dogs, hypoallergenic dogs just don’t shed. You’re still allergic to them. How much they bother you does vary by breed. Hounds really bother me for whatever reason.
