Kathleen would have probably roasted him until he put it away.

“It’s incompetently directed and edited. You can see the boom mic or limits of the set in so many shots.”
I’d say it’s an editorial issue and the fault of the owners who fired all the editors: the ‘Club already has a precedent of presenting reviews as well as analysis separately; this article is presented as a review, so I’d argue it should be written towards informing people who haven’t seen the doc yet. Whereas if they…
I’m not a sexual assault apologist, [I spent four minutes looking for a gif of Rachel Dratch yelling “I’m huuuuumannnnn!!!!” and couldn’t find it :( ]
Humiliating women, or humiliating himself. Like he was into how grossed out women were by his behavior or something.
Frankly, I’ve never thought that Louie’s behavior rose to the level of Cosby’s or Weinstein’s but it does seem that humiliating the women was part of it. Otherwise, why not just find a willing participant or hire a sex worker to watch you.
“But as in the essay he published when his misconduct was brought to light back in 2017, C.K. doesn’t seem interested in atoning for his actions.”
“He might be a rapist, but by God he’s no hypocrite.”
Insert Norm Macdonald clip about how he disagreed with Patton Oswalt that Cosby’s hypocrisy was the worst part, but that instead it was all the rape.
Man the CG in that lead photo looks straight out of 1998
I cannot. Stand it. When writing contrives a way for characters to survive. Deep was unconscious. A-Train is faster than Noir. They could have killed both of them. But they left both of them alive just so the plot can have them as loose ends. Also, how the hell does a man with one leg get escape? I mean, yeah, very…
He dared Numan to try it likely to showcase and answer this obvious answer to their issues. It would likely take too long. Numan tried it on starlight a much weaker sup and it took a bit to get a nose bleed. The powers in this show are a power scaler’s nightmare for those into action cartoons. Lol there isnt really…
I take the bigger point but I wouldn’t call Hughie a secondary role, I think an argument can be made he’s the main character.
Spoiler: It’s a sequel to The Stuff.
This seems like a classic case of “Well, we have IP that doesn’t really have much of story, so...ummm, well, we’re just going to have to make shit up.”
I’d assumed the tie in to the game was just a way to use a better known IP as an introduction to stuff done by the comic artist. But he never had narratives in his comics, and most of his stuff was just amusing and weird one-offs. This likely would have had to have been a more random “Robot Chicken” esque thing to…
Two things that bugged me about this episode:
I like going to the movies, so, selfishly, I hope theaters survive. But I think audiences have made pretty clear that there are really only a handful of movies per year that they’re willing to pay for a full theatrical experience to see. And I don’t think that makes them assholes or philistines.
It’s genuinely mysterious to me why streaming companies that have spent significant amounts of money making movies (Netflix spent ~$166m on Rebel Moon) they don’t put those in theaters first with the promise that the only place you will be able to watch it once it leaves theaters is on their streaming service.
