Hmmm... Jalopnik trashing something that’s free because it has ads all over it.  Interesting.

But real charity doesn’t need to be filmed. It just happens.”

Back when I was at “Can I borrow the car?” age, my dad had a supercharged Buick Riviera (with the special chameleon paint). That was a seriously impressive machine that I wouldn’t mind having in my life again.

“Being a mechanic and thinking that Chevy’s use Ford engines? This guy needs to find another profession.”

The front end looks like the outgoing Sonata and the rear end...is a mess. Hard pass.

The “cheap OEM parts” reminds me of that old adage about how it’s expensive to be poor. A poor person needs work boots, but can’t afford a good $100 pair. So he buys a $10 pair. But they wear out, so he buys another $10 pair. And so on. Whereas if he had been able to buy the $100 pair from the jump, they’d last much

And people on FB Marketplace will spell it as “Camaro” now.

It’s not a race car and is licensed to drive on public roads. It’s not a prototype, kit car, or modification of another model. It’s just a very limited production cars Both it and the Daemon will be very exclusive and difficult to actually purchase. Nobody is actually buying a Daemon for MSRP.

I rented a Model Y two months ago. The A-pillar cover literally fell off while I was driving down the highway. That car had ~500 miles on it. It rattled like it was an old GM car from the ‘80s. Again *500* miles on the car.

Well said price does not always equal quality. Just to start an argument, lol, look at the prices of “audiophile” stuff like cables, insert type.

Tesla does not make luxury cars.

My family’s 1998 Grand Caravan was actually pretty good in the reliability column. And as a “Sport” model, was by the far the best looking minivan of the time. Looked just like this one:

It would be difficult for anyone who was alive or old enough in the 90s to forget this. This single car really turned the American auto industry on its head with its whimsical and youth-oriented marketing campaign. Also, totally wild that you could buy one from any Dodge, Plymouth, or Chrysler dealership.

Let’s not forget the pony battle of the era. I think GM doubled down on 90's styling with the Firebird and Camaro more than Ford did with the Mustang. Pontiac as a whole had a strong 90's too. Sunfire, Grand Prix, Grand Am. What a time to be alive!

Say what you will about their reliability, but the 3rd gen Chrysler vans are the best looking minivans of all time. They drove fine too - not much you can do with 4000lbs, a cheap price point, and 90's engineering that SUV’s did any better.

Everything that was right or wrong with the 1990's is on display with the 1993 Camaro. No corners. Bubbles everywhere. Our strange obsession with hiding roof pillars. The strange idea that it should have a spoiler that you can’t see from the car’s profile (WHY?!?!?). Little to no grill.

the 5.3 in the FWD applications is bit of a odd duck though. the LS4 uses a shorter crankshaft and relocates the starter to the transmission. it doesn’t really interchange like the RWD motors do.

Where’s the moral outrage about an obviously mentally ill person being unjustly kill by (multiple) police officers?

It’s just because some bigwig invested in this tech or is all hyped up about it for some reason. They’ll forget all about it once they realize it’s not going to make them enough money.

Is he sure he picked up the right kids? Prob grabbed one and didn’t realize until later when they were wearing different shoes.
