so far, that’s what the Cybertruck is. Everybody put down $100 for something that doesn’t exist and they don’t actually own

1) Regal TourX
Just before they do, Musk will “release” another vehicle model and promise mass production for a year later, and stock will skyrocket again. Of course, that too will be a lie, and the next model will be 5 years down the road as well
My rule of thumb is that if there is any confusion at a stop, or any hesitation on the other persons part, I’ll just take the lead and go. As opposed to both vehicles doing the stop, go, stop, go shuffle
The BMW Isetta had the best door design
probably l0nger than rubber lasts winched to the bottom of a truck in snow and salt. Tires generate a lot of heat being used on dry pavement, so I’m not sure a little residual engine bay heat is going to do much
My $4k GMT800 Suburban does it better
It’ll be a crossover
GM started with the Hummer SUV and pickup. So they are doing what you’re talking about? And they’ve already announced the Escalade IQ. So it is trickling down from the expensive vehicles in the lineup. Plus, both companies still offer the ICE options for those trucks. Not like customers are forced to buy an EV if they…
It’s not a PHEV at all as there’s no plug
Well the E Ray isn’t a PHEV, is it? Where’s the plug at Bradley?
LT1's aren’t really any louder than the standard truck or car on the street, and they’re really only loud on a cold start or if your revving it out. By the time they’re warmed up, they’re pretty quiet. Are these small town people going to tar and feather you for driving a car through their sleepy little town? Has a v8…
1) I’ve already stated that this is the only reason I could see for wanting the ability to go from Hybrid to EV while moving. But even then, a Corvette has never been able to do that anyways, and theoretically, the engine will already be warm, and thus quieter already. It’s a base LT1 engine. They’re not space shuttle…
exactly my point. Why would someone want to go from hybrid to EV mode in this while already driving?
Yeah? I’ve never seen anybody test a 918 going from Hybrid driving back to EV, so I wasn’t aware it was able to do that.
I don’t think the car is meant to save you fuel on a road trip or commuting to work.
Right. But once you get to your destination, if the batteries have regenerated, you can start in EV mode again when you’re leaving. As long as it stays within the EV range and under 45mph, the engine will never kick on (unless you deplete the battery, of course). I guess it would be nice to use the EV power coming…
if you’re just shuttling around town under 45mph, yes
