it isn’t as big as it looks. Sit in one and then judge it. It is no more isolating than the C7 interior
Throughout my life, everytime I have seen a mid engine sport car/supercar, it has been a special experience (save for Fiero and MR2 sightings). Now that there is an option for such a car that is obtainable by the masses and will be built in numbers to support mass production, does being around/driving this mid engine…
that would be a lot of tools considering you can fit 2 golf bags in the trunk
it still stands. As far as falling sales percentages go, I think Buick did better than the other three GM brands.
they didn’t go fast enough in 1961 to worry about that
hate to break it to you, but everybody can already see your phone in your back pocket and it already looks like a weird lump
the problem is it can be dormant showing no signs or symptoms for 2 weeks, and then takes about two weeks to get over. So people are still getting infected and exposed unknowingly, and by the time they find out, they’ve already exposed a number of other people.
I’ve been saying it for a while. You can pick up a used Escalade/Yukon Denali/LTZ Tahoburban for a fraction of what it cost new. Why would you spend $70k+ on one of those when you could get one under $30k with moderate miles (moderate = less than/equal to 80k miles)
hatchback is a pretty generic term and crossovers *ARE* hatchbacks. But I was really just being a smart ass, so don’t read too far into it
interesting different ways to look at the whole thing. But I think Ford is trying to get people to look at their monthly payments more than the bottom line. Like trying to get people to tell themselves, “if I can afford $300/month for a Focus, I can afford $315/month for an Escape.” even though the Escape might come…
That is all fair as well and like I said, there’s no need for explanation in personal preference. I’m not even a Ford guy or really even a Mustang fan, but I do think people automatically discredit the Mustang when talking about how much fun Focus and Fiestas are to drive. I think the experiences are probably a lot…
Considering the rear seats in a Mustang fold down to extend storage space, you could fit a 4 ft coffee table in the back of that too. But you already said you don’t want a mustang and you don’t have to explain any further. I’m just trying to point out that it really isn’t all that much more versatile. And if you love…
I guess we have different definitions of “large”. Sorry to your spouse
That’s fair. Personal preference needs no explanation. But it really isn’t MUCH more versatile than a Mustang. If you want versatility, you want a crossover. But I was just wondering what your FiST does for you that a Mustang wont or couldn’t
You know what you need??? A crossover
While that’s true in some cases, with the seats folded up, the FiST has the same cargo volume as the Mustang. With the seats folded down, obviously you can fit longer/more items in there. If you didn’t need to pack long items though, you could easily use the back seat space for cargo as well. That’s what the back seat…
Hey, don’t get me wrong, I totally understand the feeling of a brand I like not offering what I want. Life just isn’t fair sometimes though. I saw this as a learning experience for the original commentor
being a popular choice doesn’t mean they aren’t still in the minority. In 2018 (the last full year in production), the Focus only accounted for 4.5% of Fords overall sales (113,345/2,497,318). Now, if say 65% of those customers stayed within the brand instead of switching to another brand that offers cars and sedans,…
