why is that? it’s easier to save a few thousand dollars by talking to an actual person rather than trying to haggle with your computer. I agree that going to dealerships is usually a miserable experience all together, but how good does it feel when you get a vehicle at a good price? Like when shopping around and one

Pay what it’s really worth?!? What, is this your first time on Jalopnik? I’m confused by your comment though, are you advocating for keeping dealerships in business? Or are you saying we should pay MSRP and order directly from the manufacturer, essentially eliminating dealerships?

you really think a manufacturer will lower the MSRP of their vehicles without dealers because operating costs are lower? What would likely happen is they would keep MSRP equal to what they already are, and just pocket more money. And a dealer isn’t required to provide a discount, I think you’re still missing my point.

that’s my point. It’s harder to get a good deal on a vehicle that the dealer is trying to off load because of an inventory surplus.

As a white person, I have to ask, why is pumpkin stealing such a white thing to do? I mean, come on! Pumpkin stealers are not making white people look any less lame and dorky.

That article is also a year and a half old now lol

Well regardless of if the vehicle is the exact same as the one next to it, you would never pay the same price for a 2019 model year vehicle sitting right next to a 2020 of the same model. That’s what people use to get deals. So it’s great for eliminating dealer markups, but it sucks for eliminating dealer incentives

If it isn’t a gated shifter I’m not buying one. (or whatever other excuse jolops use to justify writing off a vehicle they were never going to buy anyways)

Subaru doesn’t portray itself as an eco friendly brand, it portrays an outdoorsy lifestyle. It’s supposed to appeal to the festival goers that like to act eco friendly while they trash large natural areas for their festivals, while they complain about GMOs being bad for you as they drop acid and snort ketamine that

but what about the vehicles that are typically had for under MSRP because they’ve been sitting on the lot for 6+ months? The MSRP only model works good for enthusiast vehicles like from Porsche or crazy markups on Raptors, but what about that wrangler that’s a model year old already and still brand new on the lot?

The problem with online ordering that I see is also kind of a plus in some instances. You’d be more likely to get a car at MSRP with no dealer markup, but you’d also be less likely to get a car under MSRP like in the instances when it’s been sitting on the dealer’s lot for 6+ months.

Would you rather have this or the Camaro ZL1 1LE? What does each one do better/worse than the other?

With every Broncos headline, Phillip Lindsay gets more valuable as a fantasy player. You think this new QB is going to be throwing bombs down the field? Hell no! Lindsay is going to have 12 rushes for 65 and 15 receptions for 130 yards and maybe a touchdown. prepare for a lot of 3-5 yard passes

What doesn’t make sense to me is why they didn’t use this platform in partnership with Rivian to build an electric 7 passenger vehicle. Seems like the perfect vehicle for a skateboard designed battery pack. You don’t have to worry about headroom in the rear because the roof doesn’t slope back anyways. Seems like a

Lions hit a TD scoring Flea Flicker as well. It was arguably a better play too because, while not as long of a TD, the Lion’s score wasn’t the direct result of a defensive fuck up.

wild guess, you’ve got Howard on your fantasy team?
