At first when you said "particularly choice excerpts", I was afraid you were being sarcastic and I was cringe-reading. And then I got very happy. Terry Crews for President.

As if I needed another reason to love Terry Crews.

"These woods over here?"

That's a good burn.

Things got heated in the locker room afterwards between Kobe and Carlos Boozer. "Pointing at a teammate while someone drives for an easy layup is MY signature move!" said Boozer.

No one is allowed to use the word in my house. Not even Shaq, whose autobiography I ghostwrote.

I don't. Put in any race you want. White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Palauan, Chuukese, Chamorro, Hawaiian, whatever. If it's offensive on one, it's offensive on all the others.

No not really. e.g. Just start at the first line and instead of "shut up whitey" change it to "shut up blackey" and see if it holds water. Probably not. ;)

The gawker writer snark is strong in this one. I just usually sub out the word "white" and replace it with "black" in these types of articles, see if it still looks like something they'd write.. and of course it isn't. That usually sniffs out the loser writers.

Hmmmmm.. Low quality, highly inefficient shot that he will make about 3% of the time??? Seems like a perfect fit for the Lakers.

As a Tennessee fan, I hope Jones acts qucikly and sends a strong message that any type of misconduct will not be tolerated no matter who is involved, be it A.J. Johnson ora walk-on from the practice squad. I don't care if he has more tackles than God, kick him off the team. For the victims to have made a 911 call

Maybe the two are absolutely unrelated, but in a business where Muschamp gets between $6-$7 million (reports range) for getting fired for losing too much but doesn't let a runner keep his $20k winnings is a business that does not deserve my respect or support. American universities have some of the greatest minds on

The fact that she didn't list a Kardashian or Taylor Swift means you've done your job as a father

I was thinking the same thing. Unfortunately, this is entirely too reasonable for the NCAA.

Maybe a too simplistic idea, but couldn't the NCAA allow instances like this to have the purse be put in an escrow account until eligibility is done? Maybe it's a little too common sense.

Is it possible to actually make the argument that this guy deserves his prize money but that college football players don't deserve to be paid?
