HOLD ME BACK! HOLD ME BACK! OW JESUS WHY DID NOBODY HOLD ME BACK?!
HOLD ME BACK! HOLD ME BACK! OW JESUS WHY DID NOBODY HOLD ME BACK?!
Maybe its early, but nothing in this article makes sense to me. The comments section also seems weirdly littered with kids having a "my school is richer than your school" contest. But yes, at least give the kid credit for trying to make some gas money.
If we could take the Everglades (because you know these people would not give a shit about the endangered, biodiverse species there), maybe some parts of the SC coast, and hell, DisneyWorld, then yes please.
What an ugly thread. I didn't know the "Williams Way" involved douchebaggery such as searching someone's college, making assumptions about that person based on their college, and then proclaiming superiority based on the college you attended.
no argument here. I've always known that would be the worst part of any NCAA scandal to hit the school. The self-proclaimed superiority tastes bitter when served back at us. This makes me pine for the inevitable dook scandal that much harder.
they are covering up some of the players who made it into the NFL. Look at Robert Quinn's bio or Zach Brown's bio on UNC's website vs. Marvin Austin's.

If I were a UNC student I would be angry at this. It devalues the school and education that you pay for as a whole.
Having grown up there and being forced to listen to that drivel, THIS is what drives me bonkers.
This is such an important point I feel like it just needs to be repeated in the comments:
This investigation reveals stunning failures on the parts of the university as a whole, on down to the AFAM department and the two implicated administrators. But if anything, this report should spare the UNC athletics department from heavy blame; it was just taking advantage of the giant, effective shortcut sitting…
It will be interesting to see what the NCAA does to UNC after this. It seems clear that UNC Basketball was involved. But, UNC's spin seems to be that it wasn't the coaches, but an "academic problem" that involved counselors. But, if a coach is paid millions of dollars (especially one like basketball with 12…
It's still interesting to me that UNC-Chapel Hill has not taken any kind of meaningful fire from the African-American Studies academic community at large, for making a conspicuous public mockery of that discipline, and for the ugly system of racially segregated academic fraud propping up North Carolina's lucrative…
UNC pre 2010: "We're different. We don't do what everyone else does. We are better. This is the Carolina Way."
UNC: Who knew?
Am I the only one who doesn't give a crap about any of this, and just wants to know which UNC athletes took these classes? Names would be great. High profile names would be even better.
Okay, now I'm willing to admit that UNC is a Public Ivy.
