One day while sitting at my desk, I hear this loud bang and see something go airborn out of the corner of my eye. It turned out to be a button battery that was on my desk. It wasn’t in the sun or heat and had never been used. It just decided to burst open in a violent explosion.

I used a multimeter on a outlet only to find out I had it set to DC. It melted the wires with a big spark. I was fortunate to not be shocked as I was barefoot.
