I would be okay with that. But I'd also be totally fine with police chief Molly being the focus. I could see it becoming another joint operation thing with another city that will allow them to introduce a whole new brood while expanding upon the one they left in Bemidji.
I'm surprised they haven't done some sort of romcom where her partying mother comes to live with her and strains her relationship with [insert generic white actor here] as they prepare to get married.
Here's hoping they do so we might get the third season premiere a bit earlier. They started filming this season in January of this year which is why we got it so late in the year, while the previous season began in the fall 2013 and aired in the spring of 2014.
She only had supporting roles in those films, and tiny guest appearances in those shows. She should be running shit again, not second fiddle.
