I have to imagine that the destruction of the Fountain/Mushroom that was protecting the earth from Aliens will play into The Flash’s “Armageddon” season opener, yes?

- Just... a hand wave. An excuse. SOME reason why nobody ever thought to call Kara. Please.
As long as Joe is in group A, and gives an impromptu but utterly heart-warming toast, I’m happy.
It’s also kind of jarring how effectively menacing the Thawne constantly-vibrating thing still is. Though the comic nerd in me is still wondering- why does he still appear as Wells?
That felt like a backdoor series finale...
The Kramer storyline is over
Now that they’ve got The Eradicator, Steel, & a Superboy, they just need to borrow Cyborg-Superman to make it reign.
I felt that they embraced the “not worthy” reason for failure rather hastily. Constantine wasn’t interacting with the fountain itself. Why would they assume that transferring its magic from one person to another follows the same rules? Maybe it was just that the empty fountain had a greater pull on it than did…
I also like Jonathan being impressed by the suit. It fits with his interest in the weapons in the RV, which needs a cool name by the way. I have a feeling we’re moving toward Jonathan wanting a supersuit so he can help Jordan and his dad.
Supergirl will be his finale. It’s too bad he couldn’t have gotten on Black Lightning too.
It would be nice if Kate’s search for Bruce eventually ends up bringing her to Smallville to talk to Clark. It’d be really cool to have even a handful of flashback scenes of Clark and Bruce hanging out even without the suits.
WB might consider Poison Ivy too important to let The CW use. We’ll probably meet The Gardener, Ferak, or Louie the Lilac instead.
Jimmy offscreen at least sort of mirrors the entire first season of Supergirl, where Clark was basically a Superman chatbot for Kara. Constantly mentioned, never seen.
If Sara’s mom Dinah (Alex Kingston, another time traveler!) is not at her wedding I will utterly lose my shit
Next year’s crossover BETTER be their wedding. (just make sure Felicity is stuck in that cabin so she doesn’t hijack another nuptial)
Indeed, they could have shown the people getting up off the ground, their eyes glowing a feeble red that flickers and then finally disappears, and suddenly they all seem to snap back to their senses. That would have clarified things a bit.
Her ballet dancing around the lasers was nifty, but the whole time I kept thinking she really should have secured her hair.
“It’s lucky all the host bodies didn’t just fall out of the sky when Clark zapped them back into being human!” - I think Superman commented in “All Star Superman”, at one juncture where his powers were fading for lack of a yellow sun, that invulnerability is always the last power to go. So I’m going with that as the…
I love Danielle Nicolet as Cecile and am glad for her to finally have a showcase episode, she deserved it & the show this season frankly needed it
Edge’s line about ‘ever since he came here’ made it sound like he’s an actual Kryptonian who arrived like Superman and Supergirl did, not whatever is going on with his followers. I’m also wondering if the brother thing is a fake out, just a metaphorical fellow Kryptonian survivor thing.
