In-universe, Batman disappeared 3 years before Elseworlds. That would put it around the time of Supergirl Season 1, and Kara was around for a decade before that, growing up with the Danvers. If Arrowverse!Batman is as good a detective as most other versions, then he likely knew about Kara, assuming that Clark didn’t

I forgot that Mouse died at the end of the last season.  What’s also upsetting is that there likely won’t be a crossover ever again between Supergirl and Batwoman (which is a travesty).  I am interested to see what direction they take Leslie’s character.

It would have made more sense for Yolanda to say, “I have senses like a cat. Did you not think I couldn’t tell the difference between and your son by scent?”

In the Flash version of Earth 2, Ollie’s dad was Green Arrow. They could always go back to that idea.

HOLY SHIT - Mike saving the day with the truck!

DOUBLE HOLY SHIT - The Shade and Eclipso!

If Piper does not meet up with them in the present in the last episode I will be irate

I loved that the waitress from the diner was basically playing matchmaker because she says they only have 1 banana left and then the banana split Pat and Barbara are sharing totally has 2.

Good to see a fellow old person here!

Warrior Nun had a great line about sisters, when Mary is upset that she thinks Lilith died, and is asked, didn’t you hate her? “Of course I hated her. She’s my sister!”

Is Henry Jr for sure dead though?

The actor playing Henry Jr. could totally play:

Sportsmaster? Seriously? This Casey Jones wannabe has no chance of actually being intimidati...

... holy shit!

Well done show. You got everything right this week - even Mike. Well, maybe not everything right. Amy Smart continues to be underused. But beyond that, everything in this one was great.

I’m not convinced Mike has a mom. If they revealed he was a 90’s kid character that spontaneously combusted into life during a JSA adventure and got dumped him on Pat, I’d believe it.

Well, Icicle is the one who took out Starman. I think we can assume the other ISA members with powers dealt with Flash and Green Lantern. Tigress and Sportsmaster don’t have any powers and they would’ve killed these kids if STRIPE hadn’t showed up.

Artemis is one of my favorite characters from Young Justice, so I’m hoping they do her justice here. Also curious if her mother Paula will end up paralyzed like she was on that show, and if Artemis’s sister Cheshire will show up.

*cracks knuckles*

As a long time JSA fan, starting from the All-Star Squadron and Infinity Inc comics in the early 80s, here’s my hot takes on the episode:

Nice to see Courtney’s mom get more to do and her step brother not being a mini-douche.

Loved the mini twist involving the Gambler’s cat. Hoping his granddaughter

They are unapologetically goofy as hell. It’s actually admirable that they didn’t try to do some kind of leathery modern upgrade and basically kept the designs from the 40's.

Wouldn’t one of them have been for the Wizard?

Granted, this isn’t my genre, but are all their costumes this silly?

There was some quick misdirection there, with the kid talking about how he thought his magic ability was improving.
