The one thing I don’t think they mentioned: If they’d have turned Cartwright over to CCPD and his real identity had been revealed wouldn’t that make his testimony that got Jacob out of jail rather suspect?

I, for one, think it’s commendable that Batwoman murdered the guy that drove her sister insane by keeping her as slave for years!

Every time Our Heroes match with somebody, it’s just Charlie in a different face.

This episode’s two plots are very thematically similar. In each, you have three superfriends working to stop a spiteful white man from using technology to hurt vulnerable people. J’onn, Alex, and Kelly have the more sci-fi situation to deal with, in what was a great use of all three characters. Kara and Nia, with some…

Mary trying to find the entrance to the Batcave is hilarious....but you’d think that Luke would catch on that something is up.

I thought there were explicitly two bartenders and they were both the same dude and they said one was the bartender before?

... once you turn 50, the red mark on your palm flares up and it’s time to put you out to pasture.

I thought the face swapping thing was neat whenever Mouse did it because it seemed like maybe it was a unique thing he could do but now everybody's just whipping those things off like I'm watching old episodes of Lupin the 3rd.

At this point, shouldn’t we really be blaming Oliver?

Mary’s been “I’d make a fantastic side-kick” for 2 episodes now.  I’m beyond appreciative that  she’s not “I’m so betrayed!!  Angst!” like so many DCCWTV characters before her.

OK, the final shot of Mouse getting forcibly overdosed on the fear toxin was striking. But a few things rang sour for me this week, too:

Otherwise a decent episode as uninvested as I am in Sophie and Kate though just get Mary knowing out in the open already. 

Mary pretty much confirmed Kate is Batwoman, tries to tease it out of her, then essentially offers Kate the chance to bring her on it when she’s ready. Mary is just The Best.

And keeping that in mind: are Chester and Camila on the Star payroll now if they’re on the comms? Is there even a post-Crisis payroll? (Let me note again that Berlanti & Co. goofed by not having Queen Consolidated fund SL and J’onn’s Watchtower over on Supergirl.) 

I’m still waiting for ‘What if Grodd Was One of Us?’, which would be one of those episodes where everyone is tricked into thinking a new character was always part of the main cast.

I forgot one thing - I think that cop Khan killed was Ryan Choi’s mum. She got a nice moment with Ava but Legends still failed to save her and then there was the whole photo of her son thing. And this being 1997 would make him just the right age.

I though the title of the episode being a reference to “God Friended Me” meant that Violett Beane as Jesse Quick would be in this episode, since she left the Flash to be a regular on that. So that was disappointing. (And they hardly even use her speedster powers on that show!)
