Kate should be okay with it. Remorseful for a hot minute, but she’ll get over it. Ollie had no issues with killing (at the time). Kate’s also military. Killing might come with job. It’s a facet of her training.

Yup. I’ve been waiting for Cecile Horton for be the meta-human lawyer since she was introduce. They finally eluded to this. With Barry being a CSI this could be an interesting direction.
