Fair enough. To me Miller’s Crossing is the better of the two hands down.

This really re-affirms that I don’t want to watch this movie.
Donald Trump is reportedly considering recognizing the holy city of Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel,
Oh, so it’s not that Lasseter sexually harassed Jones, it’s just that he’s casually racist and sexist. Cool, cool.
If only Jeffrey Tambor had been in a show in which his character was incarcerated for abusing his position of power and was constantly reminded of “not touching”.
Tammy Duckworth was born in Thailand, making her ineligible for either President or VP.
YES, ALL THE SIGHS.
I tried to get into Curb Your Enthusiasm and it just didn’t work for me. I felt like it was Seinfeld redux with just one awful person instead of 4. And I was recently on a plane and binged several episodes of The Good Place, and when we got back home I watched all the past ones I hadn’t watched, and then set an alarm…
Don’t forget that a lot of people who work on a film are behind the scenes and don’t have the resources and can benefit from this.
It’s canceled.
I don’t know them personally but they’ve posted on social media that they would come back and do the show. They were actively campaigning for the show to come back.
Please please please let this show come back and pick up where it left off, with the same cast and everything. It was a terrific show, with a great, woman-centered storyline. It’s ridiculous that it was cancelled.
I know that every one of the main cast women actors will find a way to shoot a second season so it might be a matter of timing when we would see it as viewers.
He should’ve watched it. Part of business is knowing your product. It’s not like Amazon Studios has that much original programming that he didn’t have time to watch it. I don’t really expect that much from Amazon Studios in terms of original programming at this point. It seems like everything woman-centric gets…
Whether he watched it or not, if this was a business decision, he should have made it after he looked at the ratings it got and if it reached a desirable audience. There are so many ways to obtain factual information about how a show is doing that axing it based on his feelings is totally unprofessional.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this applied more generally to shows that center around women or people of color even if they aren’t overtly political. If the studio head yawns and can’t make it through a few episodes and that has an effect on what’s cancelled beyond straight ratings, it ends up mattering a lot who those…
So he didn’t like it? But he didn’t watch it? This definitely makes me wonder about other shows with feminist messages that got canceled. Was it about the actual show itself or the misogynistic studio head not liking the message?
This is SUCH great news - I loved this show so much. I will watch the crap out of it if it comes back.
I cried almost all night last night because a coworker did/said 2 inappropriate things to me in the span of 2 weeks. He was someone I liked, I found harmless and nice and still don’t feel threatened by, just disgusted and humiliated. I took a mental health day today to figure out how to report him. He’s been with the…
Yes! Guys, take notes, if you were looking for a way to help, this is it. This is literally it! Speak out when it happens AND speak out even when it’s someone you know and like.
So yeah guys, if you’re like, “I don’t know what I personally can do to help!”, the thing to do is to call out men, ESPECIALLY YOUR FRIENDS AND COWORKERS AND ACQUAINTANCES when they are creeps and abusers. Especially your friends and coworkers and acquaintances. Especially your friends and coworkers and acquaintances.…
