No, if HBO is feeling some buyers remorse I wouldn't blame them. But maybe they're just really hopeful this show comes together as well as Boardwalk did…though I don't know if that would make it less of a money hole.

I read production for the season (not including advertising) cost HBO $100 million, more than a quarter of that to the pilot alone. I know they already picked it up for a second season but ratings haven't been very good. I can't help but wonder if they'll be cutting that down.
