I know some people whose neighbours started taking care of their yard a bit more after seeing others do it.

Fucking finally someone’s forcing you to clean up the junkyard around your house. You’re not even able to move a literal wreck of a Kia out of your driveway for two years.

I’d never chose a soul-less four cylinder turbo that sounds like a vacuum over an inline six.

Pretty sure BMW still sells M Performance LSD. Call dealer or getbmwparts.com, people.

Had one for years and never connected to it. Quite a lot of shortcomings in the chassis department, especially the 135i’s power is just too much for the stock M Sport suspension. Save up a couple grand for suspension mods and then an LSD.

They built as many 1M’s as they could for the short production run - over six thousand. Way less than M2, but still. They’re amazing, but overpriced on the used market.

26k! That is A LOT. But that particular car looks effin hot, never been a big E53 fan till now. Can only imagine how could it’d be to have this, E39 M5 and Z4 M next to each other in the garage - all in Imola Red. Was the Z8 also offered in IR? If so, include that one too. Haha

Andy Palmer is the one who brought us manual gearboxes for the V12 Vantage S and new Vantage V8. SUV DBX was a must, and is ugly, sure, but  Palmer seemed like a proper enthusiast. Curious as to what Moers will do with the future line-up of AM; I presume unification with Daimler will only get stronger going forward.

Well, the vast majority of 500s in Europe/UK are base models that were, I think, 1.2 four-cyl before being subsequently replaced by turbocharged two-cylinders with less than a liter of displacement. They’re horrendous.

Exactly, yes.

500 is the official basic white bitch mobile in the UK. Then they progress to a 1 Series, A3 or newest Mini

we call McDonald’s “maccies”, and as for “a chinese” it’s just a shorter version of “a chinese takeaway” because the UK slang sometimes omits nouns and prepositions. So you’d say, “luv a chinese” as in you love a (good) chinese takeaway. And as for prepositions, the Brits would just say “went gym” instead of “went to

As someone who’s been in and around those old rear-engined Skodas for a long time, I can attest they are a steaming pile of shit. Very outdated even back then. Despite some clever heads at Skoda who for sure knew how to build a good car, the development of what would later become the first FWD hatchback was pushed

I mean, no way I’d buy it without the ~$5k Z51 package. 2LT Z51 seems to be the sweet spot.

Yeah, WLTP and OPF killed off the manual 340i in Europe too (and M3). Couldn’t order 340i with 6-speed after March 2018 so had to buy something else

> They’re not using a manual because they don’t think anyone would buy it. It’s not economically feasible for them unfortunately.

1. It is from BMW just like the six cylinder (and everything else in the car)...

Haven’t really wrenched on cars with dad till only a few years back when we started modding our cars. Whenever I come home, there is always something new to install/change on the cars so in the little time I have with my dad/parents, I feel like it is important to spend it with them.

MQB platform is a broad term.

The silver one is not bad at all!
