"Coors Light. Tepid."
I'd title it The Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland
Also see: all the goddamn Highlander movies, plus the TV show. The title is the only not-fucking-good-enough reason to stick to McLeod(s).
Been catching random reruns of Kojak lately…he's a really great presence, as full of character on the small screen as the large. It really sucks to think that guys like Savalas may never be leads on television ever again.
And then, before retiring, invents The Cube.

Maybe I've just missed it, but I've always thought there's a good flick to be made about the increasing paranoia and reverberant trauma as a former "final girl" (of a horror flick we never see) tries to put her life back together.
I'd much rather watch their romantic comedy about clones in space than the body-horror franchise installment that we got.
I'll try to parallel them: Prometheus was ridden with tired cliches, but without a strong enough narrative or thematic core to make it even a ridiculously-expensive B-movie; Resurrection was riddled with disconnected bits of weirdness for its own sake, without enough genuine strangeness or conceptual originality to…
I used to love to go into other screens after finishing a movie to see random parts of other movies - and I was luckily able to catch the entirety of the boat-crash scene this way. I've still never seen any of the rest of the movie.

"Like Martyrs, with puppets and a laugh track!"
Please. English pronunciation has been violated like the Sabine women since the Battle of Hastings.
The beginning of Solaris does not dispute this theory.
Flagged for slagging Powerpuff Girls by omission.
Amen to that. I love classic disco and funk - or more accurately, I love grooves, cut fine and hard - but it often seems that modern acts lack one of the following: the chops, the soul, the tightness, or the restraint that together can truly possess the mind and body. I'd like nothing better than to see RAM inspire…
EXCITED. Gonna go soak in Even in Darkness for a while.
Actually, I want her to guest and collaborate more - El-P, Del, Daft Punk, Prince, etc. - as long as they make good shit and she still comes out with an album every 3-6 years.
You know that Simpsons episode? The one where this doctor analyzes Burns, and tells him he has every disease known to man? But they're all in perfect equilibrium with each other, rendering him virtually immortal?
