The biggest injustice to me, as a journalist, was how POORLY THE DAMN THING WAS WRITTEN. I mean the guy spends the first 8 grafs or something talking about what it’s like to be Sean Penn and walking around NYC in the fall and blah blah blah. Other crap I don’t care about.

The Canadians can have Alaska as long as they promise to keep the Palins.

Yea Hillary really needs to put out a better statement and apology. That was a monumental f*ck up.

Also we all laugh because we think Ryan Reynolds is joking about “taking” Alaska, but I know better. He seems sneaky like that.

Sean Penn is just the creepiest motherfucker. I know there is some debate of whether he really did rape Madonna or not, but Jesus I can believe he did it just on his creep-factor alone.

He wasnt in the wrong. He was overtaking AND when he did have a gap a car was merging onto the highway. Im an aggressive driver and Id give him a pass for being in the left lane.

When you drive like a total dipshit endangering others around you, and you wreck your car without suffering any serious injury (as far as I can tell), then yes - you got exactly what was coming to you.

No one should brake check but thinking tailgating is a safe way to drive is ridiculous. Anything could happen in front of him unintentionally and he will have 0 opportunity to respond safely. Tailgating increases risks of accidents period.

I won’t go so far as to say the guy “got what was coming to him” but the tailgater IS at fault here. The reason you shouldn’t tailgate is you cannot predict the person driving in front of you. Perhaps the person saw a squirrel and panicked. (Not that I believe that is what happened, but it’s something that you have to

The reason for nearly dying is... TAILGATING and NOT PAYING ATTENTION.

It wasn’t remotely safe to pull over let someone pass in that situation with merging traffic from the left. I’m not even sure the lead car was ‘brake checking’ rather than slowing to merge back to the left itself. But, certainly, a somewhat controlled accident like this is better than an uncontrolled rear-ending.

Did you guys even watch the video? There was someone merging into the road at that exact moment. There was no opportunity for him to merge right without changing his rate of speed (cruise control).

his own damn fault. You want to be an aggressive sonofabitch on the road, you accept the risk. Hopefully he got a fairly sizable ticket to go along with his wrecked SUV.

To be fair, if you’re going to drive a foot off of someone’s bumper, you’d better have cat like reflexes.

Don’t be a dipshit

Tailgating is not a victimless crime. If you are following so close that you can’t stop, which this driver clearly was, you are putting the lives of the people in the car in front of you in danger.

And that he’s actually younger than her!

Loving that this married couple are actually similar in age, for once.

Exactly. And despite their control & manipulation tactics, and the various people who have seen what they are really like, they still manage to maintain a good image. Which means that any accuser looks like they are the one with issues...

He sounds like a controlling misogynist. I’ve worked for people with personalities like that and as the articel reflects it’s all about maintaining control over the person. They thrive off of ruining someone else or making their life difficult. Unless someone above him boots him (i.e. what Sony is doing now), he prob

Because abusers can’t stand to see their victims gain any kind of control. He’d rather see her suffer than save face.
