I am a teacher who is VERY careful about what is in my phone and where I leave it at school. Having said that, it is MY phone and no one has a right to access anything on it without my permission. This teacher should not have been fired and this boy should be severely dealt with. What a joke.

I’m with you. Lets add social workers in there too though. Society would literally fall apart and then maybe we could start paying the people who are holding it together a reasonable wage

God forbid we actually teach people to respect other people’s private property. Better we just insist that people guard their own privacy and decide they deserve what they get if someone violates it.

I always wonder about the parents in this situation. Had that have been my son who did this, I’m 100% certain that corporal punishment would have been on the menu that day. I would be outraged at the thought of him thinking that was okay.
