There was a wonderful Daily Show bit, years ago, where a correspondent tried to get a state senator who spent most of his time introducing draconian anti-abortion legislation to support an “every sperm is sacred” bill. The guy was shocked and horrified, and started babbling about bodily autonomy and how sick and wrong

She is my new hero. She’s holding a mirror to the absurdity of bills like SB4 and addressing gun violence and saying Fuck You in a very creative and non-combative way. I love this lady.

There has never been a more appropriate use of “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.” Cheers mate.

Yes, even I have to back up Clinton on this one. DADT was a comprimise that was still step forward. In 90s, especially before Ellen, Will & Grace (and a few others) there was no way the public was prepared on such significant change. Now every show has a gay character, something that was very unusual in 90s.

Why can’t men accept impotence as what it so very clearly is? God’s will for them.

I like this woman’s approach; if they want Big Government sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. If they’re gonna govern by Sharia, let’s be equally absurd and draconian for both sexes.

Thanks for getting the history right, not that it much matters to these people

“He pushed the repeal of DADT through (thanks Clintons!)“

Not to detract from your general point, but this is a really bad understanding of the nature of presidencies. In 1992 Bill Clinton directly campaigned on totally ending the ban on gays in the military, along with a universal health care plan. When universal

And for people who are too young, she faced a firestorm for having come out; people demanded she be fired, certain radio hosts called her “Ellen Degenerate” and considered themselves fiendishly clever, and she was basically shunned by craven networks who feared losing their audiences.

I get what he’s saying because Ellen was visible in a way no one in Hollywood had been up until that point. Still, as humble as he is, he’s been an amazing president for LGBT individuals (and the country at large, I think.) He pushed the repeal of DADT through (thanks Clintons!) and refused to defend DOMA (thanks

OBUMMERS GOT THE CHLYMIDIA AND GONNA ENFORCE KOALA LAW NOW!!!

She can afford it. It’s one thing to buy stuff within your financial ability and quite another to do what Tori Spelling does, which is to totally live above her means and then expect her mother to pay the tab.

Didn’t they, though? I thought that Candy, and Aaron’s estate, are already paying for the house and taxes and school tuition for the grandkids, and basically all the essentials. It’s just Tori & Dean’s ridiculous credit card bills for luxury items that Candy is refusing to pay. It’s not like Tori & Dean and the kids

Hopefully there is money set aside for them that they get at 21 or something. Tori and her sad excuse for a husband would have blown it all by now anyway.

I think it’s great-commendable even-not to leave your children your great fortune. But then it is your parental duty to prepare your kid to be self-sufficient and self-supporting. Gloria Vanderbilt and Anderson Cooper are a good example of this.

I cannot handle her. My god.

Some people don’t care about this, but it is SUCH a red flag for me. I live a busy life, so when I plan to do something, I do it. Someone who is chronically late or just isn’t concerned about timing would have to be pretty spectacular for me to stick around.

People who are perpetually late. If you are NEVER on time to ANYTHING, that’s a problem. Beyond the ability to manage a schedule and be a responsible person, there are deeper issues. Often times those people have a deep rooted issue with caring about your time and the effort you put into being organized.

What? I use my credit card for everything. It doesn’t mean I don’t have money in my bank account. This is 2016, who still pays for things in cash?

Some people pay for things with their credit card so they get air miles. They can still be fiscally responsible by paying off the amount before the end of the month. I’ve had a girl stop me for paying for something of my own, just because she saw me using my credit card and thought I was hard up for cash.
