Don't be surprised if Mako and Korra becomes a thing again before Book 4 ends, it's clear they still love each other but they both need to mature some more. I'm sure after recovering and them dealing with the fallout they'll be mature enough to accept taking things slow and making it work this time.

They'll develop it - as friends. Two girls can be close without wanting to get in bed together. Besides, Mako's still there and it's clear that there's still a spark between them. With Korra's state expect Mako to blame himself for not being able to help Korra cope and feeling that things would be better if she hadn't

Only see it as friendship, they've never been shown as anything more than friends. Both clearly like boys too, Mako in particular and there's still feelings there for Mako and vice versa.

I don't ever seem the as a couple. There's clearly something still there between Korra and Mako and it most likely will play an important role in Book 4 as Korra recovers and Mako comes to terms that he was wrong for his actions and that he failed Korra when she needed him most. I can even seem him taking the full

Well it isn't a high budget game. It's supposed to fill the gap between Book 2 and Book 3.

Given the state she was in it's no surprise she didn't have the rings.

Well, Korra was near death and very pissed off. Remember - she thought her father was dead during the entire fight.

That hairstyle looks ugly, she's better off bald.

Maybe they'll be a part of the Red Lotus in Book 4?

Mako and Korra needed to break up, they need to mature more before becoming a couple. It's clear that they still love each other but they rushed things and weren't ready for the commitment at the time that a relationship demands.

To be fair, she saw Mako first. Mako also chose Korra over Asami.

She'll recover but I doubt she'll be at 100% ever again, mentally or physically. This has matured her a great deal but at a huge cost.

I expect her to have nightmares about what happened to her, the world no longer needing her, and her own current state where all her friends leave her behind as she's too crippled to be the avatar.

I can see her being very depresed early on in Book 4 and even sapping at her friends. Expect Mako to eventually try and shoulder things and blame himself for not being there for Korra even though she's always been there for them all.

It is setting up for Korra to get a happy ending in Book 4 because after this things can only go up for her.
