I wrote two pieces about the Dove Real Beauty campaign on my blog. The first time they launched it, it took me a little while to figure out why it bugged me so much, and I realized it was because they were shifting the definition of beauty, rather than expanding it. The second time, with the sketches, I got totally

So we're all going to get rejected by the people we've been obsessing over for years, run over someone with our car, and/or get shot while going for one last swim? Sounds great, guys.

@BobLobLaw2013 I'm afraid one good, long look at PavlovianCog's post history proves he was not being sarcastic (viz. The kind of guy who thinks that a man who is raped is weak and stupid for not having 'controlled the situation'.)

Please tell us more about what feminists think, seeing as you've apparently met all of them and they share a hive-mind.

Show girls that there is more than one way to be a girl, and that all of

I also want to share some stuff that awesome female comics said to me during the writing of this article. (Their comments don't = an endorsement of anything I wrote above, obviously.)

i think the hair would be fine but my sour expression would ruin it all.

You're worried about it, which means I can assume you work hard to the best of your abilities....which means no, you won't be a failure. :)

Yes, please! EVERYBODY ADD YOUR OWN FUCKS IN THE COMMENTS.
