Welcome to post carpocalypse world, where buying the latest, most expensive and fastest Ferrari is just like buying the latest, most expensive and fastest HTC smartphone. You knew the better ones are just around the corner, the truly best one would have to be the one you bought, a day before you die.

@stoke: F458's nice. The rest, all the way back to the 360 is just .. meh ...

@peteostro: To make just such a vehicle may cost something like $30-50,000; to spend a nationwide campaign using media, as in newspaper or tv, requires more, way more.

@hawkeye18: A-10 and F-14 are both of my favorite fighter planes. I'd admit that the F-14 is purely due to its looks, those wings and all; whereas the A-10 actually looks like stuffs soviet union would make, doesn't look good, robust, just works and damn efficient. Best part? Its from the US.

"To again paraphrase John Oliver: Could China make a t-shirt-firing, steroidal monster truck? Yeah. But they'd never think to, and that's why America has nothing to worry about it."

@TimOzcelik: You haven't even mention about them repeating the same message in all four languages. English, Mandarin, Malay and then Tamil.

it's amazing that watching near death misses is scarier than actual train crashes...

@adamdurso: Exactly contrary to what you said, when I drove the Holden Commodore down under, I was thinking "who the hell wants to shell out so much more for BMWs?"

@popwar2: All integrated systems are generally horrible to use. MMI, COMAND, iDRIVE. On dash buttons or touch screen's the best so far. Physical buttons might leave a confused first impression, however it only takes slightly more than a week to over come it. As for integrated system, regardless of getting

@TriShield: I think you really need to do more research. Using your ten year old turbo as a benchmark means FAIL.

What? Ban on incandescent lights? The sickest thing about the four year cycle democratic election process is that politicians never want to deal with real issues.

Can it cruise? And also the other more subjective question of how capable is it to counter little acts of shenanigan? Ouch Snap!

@Skink: That's a good one. lol.. i'm trying to get me-self a 3d glasses now .. .lol

I somehow have an entirely different conclusion. I had a feeling this will not be slotted below the Audi TT. This will be sold either on-par to the current R8 V8 or just about positioned slightly lower.

Do you guys agree that the temptation of something lurking behind is always greater than everything in front at times?

@The Hoon Dynasty (RexMaximus): Oh they're good with marketing, in fact tv airtime selling is so competitive that you can frequently see 10 or 15 second car ads on tv in japan.

Speaking of that, I was lucky enough to lap an R8 V10 at Sepang, and boy was I disappointed by the track. The only fun corners are 4,5 and 9 and that's it. Others were mostly flat, wide corners that require in-corner turning. The wide track also makes everything seemed just so far away that you lost any kind of speed

Yahoo to me is more like a internet media company. They scour contents and bring you stuffs. i.e. Feeding you. Google however, is a search engine that's slowly becoming 'Teh internet'

Another day, another Abu Dhabi/Qatar/Dubai skyscraper drawing. When will European architects learned that if they want to build beautiful buildings that will eventually be put to use - they should go China or India?
