Touché. Or as Trump would say, touch.

To be fair, it would be their fault since they’re the ones who put this shitshow in office to begin with.

They will probably want to remain anonymous after November, too. The “resisters” inside the White House are not Democrats. They are appalled at their boss, but not so much that they are willing to cooperate with Democrats to oust Trump. Their agenda is a Republican agenda, which still puts party before country.

We knew this already, didn’t we? I mean, the guy tweeted about it over and over. It’s hard to believe, but he’s serious about this shit. Trump has never, never, never experienced consequences for his actions. Lose a billion dollars and run Atlantic City into the ground? The judge will let you take the billion

Before some lawmakers, such as Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) or Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), went golfing with Trump, White House legislative aides would prep them on helpful messages they were trying to share or “disasters they were trying to divert,” according to a former senior administration official.

We need to pull this band-aid off and let Trump be Trump for a bit and show everyone what an absolute horror of a president and human being he is and get that impeachment/25th amendment solution rolling instead of propping him up to “barely even tolerable to his own people.”

Letting “Trump be Trump” could mean nuclear war.  Thanks, but no thanks.

This. No more quotes in books or anonymous op/eds. If the people inside the White House recognize Trump is this unfit, then it’s time for them to go full 25th Amendment. I don’t particularity like the idea of President Pence but at least he’s unlikely to poop in his hand and throw it at some other world leader.

Correct - that is an actual Constitutional crisis.

Thank you! Having anonymous bureaucrats secretly running the executive branch is not exactly avoiding a constitutional crisis.

......... you’re going to have to be waaaaayyyyyy more specific there.

Invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump should in no way absolve him and the conspirators he is surrounded with from the crimes, possibly even treason, that they have committed.

it’s layers atop layers, so i think you can be happy that NIKE is supporting Kaepernick without you actively supporting NIKE.

My son plays HS football DEEP in Trump Country and 45’s supporters are physically sick about this campaign.

The point is that we have been cast aside as the target audience of the new congressman’s policy objectives in favor of people stuffed into the southern sections of MA 7. It’s offensive, to be perfectly honest. We made her who she was while in Boston and this is how we are paid back? I won’t stand for it.

It’s almost as if... most people don’t understand statistical polling methods or how they work.

No, we didn’t. This take makes me want to spit flames - the 2016 polls were correct! The national polls only predict the popular vote - Hillary was favored to receive more votes and she did!

riddle me this: if everything in your neighborhood was doing fine with a guy you admit was doing “basically nothing”, what makes you think it’s going to be worse with someone focusing on areas of your district that aren’t yours?

...so, basically, you’re pissed that she’s not focusing on your part of the district, she’s instead focusing on a different part of the district? Sounds like she’s still going to be doing her job.

Everybody forgets that even if Hillary had a 71% chance to win, so did Trump have a 29% chance to win. The polls and forecast s worked fine. People just drew down onto the 71% too much and forgot the 29% and what it meant.  And that’s their fault.
