@wealhtheow: I dunno, based on this discussion I just pulled Born in Fire off the shelf to re-read, and the female characters look and read like Gen 13. Stephanie Maas is very different, but I don't think her characterization is very strong at all, I think her motivation and is one of the weaker parts of this

And for those questioning the legality of this action, this is not an unprecedented thing.

@wealhtheow: I was speaking just about his comics, actually, as I never watched B5 (I know, I know).

Plus, they handed out these kickass temporary tattoos at Pride! Go Google!

@mnerd: No they can't:

@JonnyP: It is pretty straightforward- it only applies to people receiving Domestic Partner benefit coverage. A domestic partnership must be filed for legally, like a marriage.

@OtherTimes: Domestic Partnership in California is actually only available to same-sex couples. The only exception is for heterosexual couples over 62, when either of the partners is eligible for Social Security.

I think it's also unfortunate that they are replacing Gail Simone with J. Michael Straczynski as the head writer. I think they should have tried harder to keep a woman in the role of the head writer of that particular title, or at LEAST someone with a strong track record with female characters.

@MakeFetch: He's making me sweaty. Was that shirt painted on?

The apple doesn't fall far from the asshat.

Got caught again, Chris. Don't beat yourself up about it.

You, you got what I need

@MissBurlesque: well, then again, the age estimate is only based on the doctor's ultrasound measurements. Given that it's True Blood, it might be some crazy supernatural fast-growing spawn.

@Nick: Thank you, Doctor Crusher.

I thought the iPad was the iPad for Suits. It's not exactly a mark of counter-culture leanings.

@G_Money21: If you purchased an iPhone 3 months ago, you're still ineligible.

Yeah, until the mac client is up to feature parity with their windows client, namely, RSS broadcatching, there's really not a lot of reason to switch from other clients.

What an idiot. He ruined his friends' wedding and made it all about himself and his own obsession.

@Carissa McIntyre: I don't think it's been 6 months since Season 1. Someone broke down the exact timeline of the tv show on their blog and counted only 43 days between the beginning of Season 1 and the end of Season 2. There haven't been many days between the end of Season 2 and this episode either.
