@BowieCadmium: Heterosexual couples can get domestic partnered in certain states. In California for example, if both parties are over the age of 62, they can enter into a domestic partnership, so that they can collect each other's social security benefits.

I told my straight friends that starting in 2010 I wouldn't be attending any weddings in states that don't permit gay weddings. The air travel, hotel money, gift registry, and other expenses all support businesses that indirectly or directly profit off of an unfair institution.

I quit lost in season 3 and i remember I used to be ANGRY about how pointless it seemed to be, but recently I've softened up and just taken it for what it is, a pretty entertaining mystery show. It's not like we got on Twin Peaks' case for not tying up every loose end or not making sense of everything.

@drogers: Y'know, I tried Automatic and it just didn't seem to work. It didn't seem to want to pick up any torrents from the feed. I might give it another shot, except Miro is actually working well for me right now so I will just stick with that running in the background.

@sunk818: but the application binary and website are uTorrent. The µ is just in their logo, as far as I can tell.

@IamFuzzles: yes I have this problem to. Are you writing to an external drive? My transmission will lock up completely and I can't even force quit it sometimes.
