totally totally totally. People also do this with accents. Everyone shits themselves over a person with a hard to understand french accent but if its an african accent people are all, excuse me, you need to learn to speak English.

Oh dear, why do people always try to "cure racism" by ignoring race
Soooo happy, this case has been on and off my mind ever since I read about. The next victim I want to see justice for is Cyntoia Brown!!
it was sooo sad, it was when I really switched my opinion about the fashion world
Soooo heartbreaking. Those model scouts were pure evil financially and emotionally exploiting children under the guise of art
In the documentary Girl Model it becomes clear very quickly that a huge part of the reason they hire young models is because they are easier to manipulate and easier not to pay
I just wanna put in my own 2 cents and say this is why I feel discussions about lady gaga, miley cyrus, misogyny in hip hop or whatever are completely pointless. They are all pawns in the game for these music execs, everything is planned and calculated.
From her dad's reaction i'm sure its her parents who have fostered this behaviour in her.
yes, it really was not that long ago that I thought I could prevent rape by not being a sluttyslut I thank the internet for shaking me out of that one
This is the BEST thing I've ever seen, literally the BEST!
Its sad cause now when I look back at 80's/90's music videos I'm like mmm their bodies/skin are meh. In reality they look bangin but I'm just so used to the artifical image I'm being able to see it less and less
I'm so glad this is becoming a "thing" talking about rape, ending victim blaming, removing the shame from the victims and shaming attackers. Woohoo internet activism. Daisy is so brave, I am eternally grateful to her for speaking out but sad that she even has to, she is literally saving lives with her bravery.
This woman is already beautiful. Sadly, with the direction our society has gone in, we have become immune to noticing beauty unless its covered in pigments, wears false lashes and has its hair blow dried.
this is best comment
sorry my comment was probably unnesesary snarky! maybe its just us british
Doesnt matter what colour you are your comment was rude and snarky to Woc
ummm no that wasnt the whole point, this was your point
There are many things about white culture that I find confusing and problematic. I could write an essay on all the things I think are disempowering about ballet, yoga, burlesque etc and why I would not like my fictional daughters to do them. But you know what I don't get to define what is empowering for white ladies,…
Serious practice. As a person of African origin I can tell you we've all been practising our dance moves from since we could learn to walk. Plus there is no culture of embarrasment or shame around dancing (which I've noticed my white friends all have....unless their drunk)
This was pretty much what i was trying to get across in my comment but you wrote it much better!
