Same. My baseline anxiety level has been unhealthily high for a couple months now. I realize my behavior is compulsive, and every day I think to myself “I wish I could stop paying attention, I wish I could just tune out news and social media,” but I am just finding it impossible to turn away.

I do this thing where I imagine my car has missile capabilities, and when a maniac driver pisses me off, I pretend to pull the trigger. And then in my mind’s eye, missiles launch from my car and that maniac’s car explodes in a ball of fire.
