I’m not exactly a gashole hater, as I have buddies with Model 3 orders waiting on delivery. I have noticed, though, that sooner or later money comes due. I didn’t even start looking into this until reading about the Model 3 production target shortfalls in their latest reports. Via WSJ yesterday:

Making the same product slightly smaller is not a new business venture. Also an established company cannot be considered a start-up. Even if Tesla were to decide they now wanted to make airplanes, Tesla would not be a start-up. It would be an existing [supposedly] self-sustaining company that is branching out into a

Your assessment is not accurate on many levels.

They are 15 years old with a 60 billion dollar market cap on 12 billion in revenue they are not a start up.

Is Tesla a start up? Why should I buy a new car from a start up? If I’m trusting a company to build a car for me, then they should be better at running their company. Maybe there are a lot of bad news stories about Tesla on here. Maybe they’re also deserved. The ‘contractor’ story was objectively ridiculous.

Have you ever worked at a start-up? Long hours, low-pay, high-pressure. It’s not a government union job. It’s not for everyone, a lot of people can’t or won’t handle it. And when have you seen a good Tesla news story here. Almost all are bad.

Why are low pay and long hours acceptable at Tesla? They have been around for 15 years now, that isn’t a start up anymore. If the only way you can run your business is by mistreating your employees, you deserve all the criticism that comes your way and should try to treat your employees better; not keep running your

Seems like the perfect fit for id’s new mastery over arcadey FPS games. I liked the gunplay of the first, but the driving and stuff was lame. Seems like a good opportunity to fix the flaws of the first.

Yes, and disabling the door’s interactivity would prevent the Great Bridge from loading (as the load occurs when the door is activated), so their statement is still accurate.

Don’t give up, skeleton!

I’m trying not to laugh but lol, yup, the fight is a joke.

To be fair, that’s true of physicists as well. Not a bad club to be in.

IT DIED

I’m reasonably certain Dark Souls Remastered is still launching on the 25th of May, for all platforms apart from Switch (the version was delayed).

I might not understand how time works.

To be honest, I haven’t kept up with all of it, but I check it out every once in a while.

Absolutely agreed; it took a second, and then I was all, “Ohhhh...that’s clever, right there.”
