It’s an amusing story, but I can’t see it being worth watching if the “documentary” was stretched beyond 10 minutes.

The trailer doesn’t give away who wins this battle. For that we’ll have to head over to Netflix on November 17.

“Don’t do stupid things at an event” like setting a few foam blocks onto the concrete, calling it a “pit”, and encouraging people to jump into it.  Agreed.

They were literally telling people to do it.

To all the greys insisting that her *other* career is how she should be identified:

This will probably be stuck in the greys, but as a hypothetical, if this happened in a Red state now Post Roe, I wonder if Twitch/Kairos could be charged with murder because she lost the fetus, or if the surgeons would have been unable to operate on her due to new shitty legislation. Scary country we live in that

Sadly, back pain doesn’t always look a certain way.  As someone who has had their share of back pain it’s not always the laying down or standing up that’s hard -- it’s the transition in between.  Even when the back is acting up, I can still be in pain and hold a conversation.

I think thats what all that rehab right after the surgery is for.  Too much bed rest is bad for the back and also leaves you susceptible to clots and other cardiovascular issues.

I forgot about Commodore oh. She counts.

Hey, don't do Admiral Paris dirty like that, I'd honestly say he's a better person then Ross is.

In the TOS era, they are fresh from the wars with the Romulans and Klingons and the Federation is still in it’s expansionist stage. There’s still a frontier and Wild West to explore for ambitious officers like Kirk and Pike. Nearly a century later in the era of Picard, the Galaxy is a much smaller place, there’s less

Again pushing back on the “uneven season” thing. I thought this was a solid season, perhaps not the equal of the previous ones, but still pretty darn good overall.

My head canon was that Janeway deliberately never promoted Harry Kim out of spite.

While we did get Another Bad Admiral, I think this might be the first time we’ve gotten hints as to WHY that keeps happening?

Buenamigo’s motivation to doing rash bad stuff stemmed from the fact that once you hit Admiral in Starfleet, there’s kinda nowhere else to go in the hierarchy. You’ve got a desk job and the

I think I read somewhere that, due to how long it takes for these shows to get written and produced, by the time “wej Duj” came out and T’Lyn became a fan-favorite character last year, it was too late to put her in any season 4 episodes in a significant way.

to reveal that Buenamigo is not so Buen an amigo after all

This episode makes a great comparison point to the last act of the Rise of Skywalker, in how it had the ‘big fleet shows up at the last minute to save the day’ moment. In RoS it really does feel like it comes out of nowhere, the fleet of ships feels anonymous and it has no real impact on the viewer. The same mistake

Watching the California class, focused on egalitarian teamwork, take out the Texas class, focused on self-centered ambition and power, was about as blunt as Star Trek’s social commentary ever gets.

I miss recommending missing living in Toronto.

RAY FUCKING PURCHASE!!
