The first series of (Clarkson/Hammond) Top Gear included them having Lotus tune a Lada Riva. The results were incredible.

I also think I saw what looked like an Italian supercar but the badge was a crossed pair of flags. Been doing a bunch of Googling trying to figure out what it could possibly be with no luck.

He was CEO of two of the largest auto conglomerates in the world, “whacked” on at least partially political grounds, and then fled Japan in an instrument case. People I know who can’t even tell a Versa from an Altima know about this guy and are talking about him.

I drove through Miami a few months ago and was extremely disappointed not to see a single car more exotic than a Tesla Model S. Bad luck I guess... 

My favorite sighting was a McLaren waiting in line for valet parking at a shopping mall.

I work out in McLean. McLean / Tyson’s has good cars. Ferraris are not uncommon, Aston Martin has a dealership out that way, and I gotta say I felt tremendous schadenfreude seeing the McLaren stuck in traffic on 66 from my Silver Line train.
