I dont mean to make this overtly political, but over the past 40 years, one political party in particular has been using social wedge issues to win elections.  That includes telling a portion of the country they should never have to feel even remotely sorry about anything, no matter how awful the behavior is.  That

He’s not wrong, but I feel as though the issue isn’t that the loudest assholes forget that these are people, it’s that they’re assholes and they just don’t care.

“...but caveats this by noting he is very careful with his phone and rarely ever drops it.”

I don’t see how it’s that different from people getting bullied for wearing generic brands of clothes or shoes. Luckily, I just didn’t give a shit as a kid about clothes brands. There’s always going to be “better than thou” peer pressure as a kid (and as an adult TBH), all that’s changed is what thing it’s focused on.

In fact last night I installed Chiaki on my ROG Ally and streaming from my PS5 is flawless.”

And that’s exactly the problem with the Portal...handheld pcs and any android/ios device running an open-source app handles streaming better than the dedicated 1st party hardware Sony build specifically to do that one thing

This right here is the main benefit. You aren’t going to get a good signal from ground-based cell towers when you’re 35k feet up, so why leave that on? Sure when you’re about to land you will get signals (I’ve definitely received a call probably 10-15 minutes before a landing when I forgot to put it in airplane mode)

Tracking a plane isnt tracking a stranger any more than knowing where the #6 bus is going to be a 3PM tomorrow. Not to mention we uh...kinda like...need to track planes so other planes know where they are..? Planes (somehow) run into each other more often than makes any sense as it is, and thats WITH everyone being

I’m impressed. I have a hard time writing that well with a pen, let alone with a plane.

If people care about physical media, then they should BUY physical media. This isn’t some grand conspiracy by the media companies. They are simply phasing out physical releases because they aren’t profitable enough.

makes me wonder if this is connected to the snoop cereal issue as well. seems like walmart might be playing games.

I’m all for hating on YouTubers but this is common in Wal-Mart and other grocery stores. Vendors (which he likely can sell himself as as he owns the product) are authorized to go back and help to find their merch and pull it to sell. I used to do that all the time for multiple merchandising companies.

Helping people stock shelves, i.e. finding it and putting it out for them, is not “forcing” anyone to do anything. It is the exact opposite, i.e. doing their work for them so they aren’t compelled to do so because of their job.

Have you ever worked in a grocery store? You are supposed to periodically stock throughout the day, and especially if there are hott sales, products, or essentials. I frequently had to stock sale items and whatnot.

What the hell are you talking about? I have no dog in this fight, barely played the first game, don’t care about the movie one way or the other. But there is nothing, absolutely nothing in these TWO still pictures that would indicate the movie is bad or good. JFC.

Came to say exactly this - its two stills. As long as they aren’t just awful, which they aren’t (to me at least), then I am ready to see more whenever that comes. Not sure what one could have been expecting from a couple screenshots.

I also consider myself to be a Borderlands fan. These photos look about like what I was expecting. It’s not clear from the article why they disappointed you. The vibe of the solo shot is “Lilith has an attitude,” which we all knew. And the vibe of the group shot is, “There’s something in that hole.” They’re not the

I have seen some twitter discourse about this and FUN FACT: either people get this movie, or they’re just cool with fascism and don’t realize that’s what they’ve been conned into understanding as a good way for the world to work.

nah. its mostly because the CW didnt want to pay for shows anymore since the unmerger. Superman and Lois were always on the chopping block. it was just a matter of time. theyre just using the excuse that the movie is coming out next year to make headlines for the upcoming last season.

Like almost 12 million people watch Yellowstone; 10 million people watch NCIS. Nine million people watch Ghosts, and even shows like Fire Country can pull 8.3 million.
