Stand-ups are hard to ride. I rode one in my prime. Even with motorcycle experience, getting up and staying up made for a formidable challenge.

Anyone who has ridden a motorcycle knows you get full exposure to everybody’s exhaust. But not only that. You also have to smell their cigarettes, listen to their music, and hear them talking on the phone. I had a VERY short commute and would arrive at work smelling like exhaust, most of which was obviously my own.
