You are very wrong. Minivans are cavernous. The seating position is couch-like because of the height. I have a hatchback and a ,plan so I can attest to the huge difference. 

I got a 3-year-old Sienna for $21K. I specifically went for the SE because I don’t like leather, wanted the 8-seat option, didn’t want a sunroof, and I prefer ore tire than rim (17” wheels ba. the 18” on the XSE). The only thing I wish it had was auto rear hatch. Anyway, maybe consider not getting the SE, limited, or…
