He was good in the ring. He was legit tough. The gimmick is just the start; it’s what he did with it that was good.

I admit that I thought the same thing during that sequence. But much like how a druid can’t turn into an owlbear (it’s a monstrosity, not a beast), I can accept that a DM would allow it for a more fun sequence.

Is it a reboot, or just another story starring Hellboy? Hellboy is mostly standalone stories, so I don’t see why it isn’t just a new story. We don’t need a complicated mythology connecting every movie.

Being against vaccine MANDATES doesn’t mean that one is against vaccinations, is “antivax”, or doesn’t believe vaccinations work. It’s irresponsible (at best) or intentional lying (at worst) to equate the two.

Got into English panel shows during COVID, and this is about as close as we got. I’d love to see more of that format. It’s fun, cheap, and easy to make. (Maybe then we can get a proper US version of Taskmaster.)

Why would they bother with real-time aging of the characters? They never aged in the original show, why would they age now?

Pretty typical for the loud section of D&D fans to find a new controversy to get frothy about. Happens every few months. While there was one fairly egregious clause in the new OGL, most of it was super banal. But these guys look for any reason to hate WOTC/Hasbro, and thus was created this mountain out of a molehill.

Except most others don’t involve Scientology, which has a policy of doing anything and everything they can do destroy critics. It’s not even remotely past them to be behind this. They know that an arrest is sufficient to ruin his career.
