Now I’m on their website thinking about ordering a few pounds. :)

I brought home a TON of good cheese from Wisconsin during my last visit. I think I had at least 4 wedges of Marieke Gouda, plus some 10 year old cheddar.
Vanilla is an option in Arizona. My husband likes to get half-and-half vanilla and chocolate, which I don’t understand. Frostys are chocolate. Period.
I don’t have kids either, but all of my friends with them HATE Elf on the Shelf. They hate having to move it around, they hate coming up with new cutesy poses, they HATE the whole business. But their kids’ friends have an Elf, and if they don’t have one, they freak out that Santa won’t know if they’ve been good or…
My advice is to wait until you have a stand mixer before you start messing with meringues. Holy cow.
I get a blonde Americano with extra milk, sugar-free vanilla (I do just 2 pumps) and the PSL topping. It’s quite close to a PSL without all of the sweetness, and it’s cheaper to boot.
The book “Last Days of Night” is a really fascinating exploration of this time period and the BAJILLION lawsuits that Edison and Westinghouse had flying back and forth. Every description of this film makes me wonder if the creators were influenced by that book, but it sounds like that was going to be a separate movie.…
We’re in Phoenix now, and ditto. :) Tacos Juanita was great if you knew to ask for the real stuff - they kept the salsa verde in the back and only gave it to those in the know. That whole road became a kind of little Mexico with a couple of legit Mexican restaurants and 3-4 Mexican grocery stores.
I’ve never had it, but the combination of descriptions here is making me think of liquid circus peanuts.
This is part of a long tradition of nostalgic transplants freaking out when their hometown thing comes to Phoenix. It’s like they can’t understand that it’s here permanently and they don’t have to stock up on day 1.
Why, though? There are so many good places to eat in Eau Claire. If you’re just after the meats, there’s Mogie’s. What I miss are those amazing Hmong egg rolls, which you can’t get anywhere else. *sigh* Noodle Wrap... their Chinese food is terrible but the Hmong egg rolls and stuffed chicken wings are to die for.
That’s why I stick to the Young Justice reboot from Wonder Comics, and hope it will never get absorbed into these shared storylines.
Miami University is in Ohio, though. The University of Miami is in Florida.
If you pay with cash, maybe. But if you use a card at Starbucks, the receipt doesn’t have a tipping option, so it’s an improvement to have that function in the app.
I did order some actual pretzel salt through Amazon though, and it was 100% worth it.
The Starbucks app sends you a message after you pick up your order to give you a few hours to tip. It even includes a few buttons (10%, 15%, etc) to push to make it as easy as possible.
When did Lockheed come back?
Matty Matheson pours hot oil over his porchetta after cooking it, to get a really crispy exterior. Seems like that could work in this case too, if you’re brave enough...
My Kroger affiliate (Fry’s) sells it. Look on the top shelf where they hide specialty jellies. It’s usually an unnatural green color.
Aimee in a walk. I want to party with you at the Humbird Cheese Mart.
