Citation? Phil Graham died by suicide in 1963, and Katherine Graham became the publisher shortly after, so I don’t think that’s true.

He may be engaged to Jon Lovett? Haha their cute little relationship will surely make someone angry right?
I wonder how often any kind of big story is killed by higher-ups. Who remembers Jeffrey Wigand? I watched The Insider when it was released. (Great movie, but I don’t know how much of it was fictionalized.) It seems like money and money alone is what freaked out the bigwigs at CBS. And I do believe that Wigand…
Counterpoint: that outfit was hideous. But here’s the thing, it doesn’t matter what I think. I’m glad she wore it too, and I’m also glad she told him, via a scripted “reality” show, to get lost. Makes me wonder what they really talk about in real life.
As far as we know, Logan is the only one who knows that the shareholders are demanding that it HAS TO BE Logan and they will accept no one else. The scene at the rest area when Logan is talking on the phone made that pretty clear to me. So Logan plays all these mind games on the yacht with his kids, knowing full well…
It’s true! My husband and I did one of those cruises and we were definitely the youngest--early 60s. Nonetheless, it was fabulous! I wouldn’t go near one of those ocean cruises, but I would absolutely do another river cruise.
I think Shiv married Tom because she knew she was going to be able to push him around. Just enough faux blueblood for her to be in a respectable marriage and still be the alpha, not enough for him to be able to fight back. That’s just my theory.
I’ve met Ellen a few times. Anecdotal evidence is not evidence at all, sure, but I was so impressed by her ability to be so publicly “nice”, when in reality she is one of the worst people I’ve ever had contact with. Just a raging bitch. I’m totally not surprised she’s friends with a war criminal.
I starred you for your comment, and give an extra star for The Guard. What a great film. It was weird watching Ser Davos Seaworth playing such a bad guy.
I was sure Karl was going to drop dead right there.

Even if I had hated your comment, (I don’t) I would have starred you just for your username.
Atta girl!
1) I agree with you, no way that got to Broadway so fast. But it just seemed strange that they made a point of showing the Barrymore marquee.
After reading this post, I screamed “hey no love for Connor?”
I don’t know. It was the Ethel Barrymore Theater, and the marquee was prominently displayed. Seems likes they were definitely on Broadway.
Yep. Mine too, we wouldn’t be accepted into civil society if our conversations and texts were made public.
A bit off-topic, but this reminds me of one of the funniest things I ever heard a celebrity say. Kristin Davis (Charlotte from Sex and the City) telling Dave Letterman she was her high school valedictorian. And then saying something like that’s how bad education is in South Carolina. It was hilarious.
