If the cars were shit and fell apart in less than 10 years, Kia would be out of business with all of the warranty repairs. 

My guess is you have not actually owned or driven a Kia that was made in the last 10 years. Their quality level now is better than most US manufactures and approaches the Japanese brands.

I think you have your thoughts on warranties backwards there...
